Young Writers Group Poster2

For youth 12-17, a space to create, discuss and share work, learn techniques and tools for writing and connect with other young writers in the community.  We will explore topics such as journalism; blogging; songwriting;graphic novels and zines; submitting your work to literary magazines and anthologies and much more! 

Drop in for this free, weekly program, every Thursday from 3:30-5:00!


Writers of the Peace


A writers group for wordsmiths of any genre, experience and age! We meet every two weeks on a Friday. Bring yourselves, bring your writing, bring a love for the written word, no matter what genre!

Spend your Friday afternoons reading to cats at the SPCA and make a feline friend happy!

 

Every Friday 2pm - 4pm

 

Interested participants MUST fill out a Volunteer Application form, available at the library or the SPCA. Open to all ages and any reading level. No registration, just drop into the SPCA to participate!
